Kangaroo Point Cliffs - Brisbane By Night

Last night 10-10-2008 We headed out to Brisbane to have a Turkish Meal at the Mecca-Bah restaraunt on Kangaroo Point, Fortitude Valley. The food and atmosphere was next to none, we all enjoyed the meal!

Later on, Jamie took us to the lookout point at the cliffs of Kangaroo point, Brisbane. From here you can see Brisbane City in all its glory. What an amazing city it is!

Andy took some pictures by night and they turned out pretty well ;-)

Down on the river they were out Kayaking by candle light, something everyone must see if they visit Brisbane!

Cocktails!

On Wednesday Louise and Andy headed to Carindale Shopping Mall for some retail therapy! After purchasing 2 pairs of bargain priced shoes they headed to the Hogs Breath Cafe for some lunch and stumbled across the cocktail menu! Oooops!!
Oh well, they are on holiday so why the hell not!

Tuesday in Brisbane

On Tuesday we headed out on the city cat - dad's first time - he was a happy man!
The weather was beautiful as we sailed up and down the Brisbane River.
We even saw the Sea Princess Cruise Ship - and Louise remembered all her fun times at sea! (and was tempted to try and sneak on board!)

The Outback

On Sunday afternoon we headed to Jamie's Uncle Russel and Auntie Anne's house in the outback for a BBQ.
A lovely day - we even saw some wild kangaroo's!

The Sunshine Coast

On Sunday we took a trip up to the sunshine coast before heading to Uncle Russel's in the outback.
Thought we'd stop off at the beach to top up the tan!

Tamborine Mountain

Jamie and Deb took Andy and Louise for a drive up Tamborine Mountain and into the rainforest.

The Gold Coast

Saturday Oct 4th.
Andy, Lou, Deb and Jamie headed out to the gold coast for a couple of hours on the beach.
It's such a hard life!

Engaged!

On Friday 3rd October 2008 at 11pm (after watching Bjorn Again - who for the record are not a patch on Planet Abba!) Andy took Louise up on the Brisbane Eye to view the city at night.
On this night Andy proposed and Louise accepted.
They are happily looking forward to a wonderful life together.
